We loved our stay at Villa Pane! the owners were so accommodating and made us feel like part of their family. the free shuttle service was convenient and the home-cooked meals made from their own garden produce were delicious. the view from our balcony was amazing, overlooking the bay. Perfect for families or those seeking an authentic Sorrento experience away from the tourist strip.
We felt looked after and had no complaints at all.

Villa Pane is relaxing place and the owner makes delicious food.
We had booked rooms with the view to the sea and didn't get those rooms. We had some discount from the rooms, but even though I was highly disappointed.

A wonderful location overlooking Sorrento and the bay in a quiet, peaceful area. Incredibly welcoming and helpful family owners for whom nothing was too much trouble. The food provided was outstanding and enabled us to eat in the authentic Italian style. Dinner on the terrace in the evening was wonderfully romantic.
Don't even attempt to drive right up to the hotel! The lane is so narrow and steep. We left the car in the piazza for our entire stay and made use of the excellent and flexible free shuttle.

During my Christmas stay, I absolutely loved the stunning views from the balcony. It was breathtaking and truly added to the charm of the overall experience. the breakfast served at the resort was excellent, with fresh vegetables sourced from the garden, giving it an authentic Italian touch.
One aspect that I found inconvenient was the limited accessibility to the hotel. the narrow road leading to the resort made it difficult for medium or big-sized cars to reach the location.

The hotel staff were very accomodating and friendly and the house is in such a beautiful location. I would definitely recommend staying for dinner one evening which was excellent value for money and delicious.
The only problem we encountered was that the walls are very thin and therefore light sleepers might find it difficult to get to bed! Apart from that an excellent stay and I would definitely recommend it.

The staff came to fetch us at midnight when we got lost & were extremely helpful. The free parking in Sorrento's city centre was also great! This is a family run home away from home & I we got engaged on the balcony.
The map&GPS might lead you up narrow silly streets to get there, but there's a bigger better road to get you there 99%. The last 500m is for small cars only, but the staff were really helpful in parking your car at the parking area&giving us a lift in their vehicle the last bit.

Beautiful view !!!
The only thing I didn't like about this place is that you depend on others for transportation. You cannot take off whenever you want.If are going to town you have to go according to they sch. As well the return. But overall the hotel is fine.

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. They had a shuttle service that went to town and a pick up spot in town. Very relaxing spot. We walked to town which took probably 20-25 minutes downhill. Not a problem. It was fun to meet other people from different countries.
It was difficult to find at night. I should have called John Luigie before we arrived. he left a message on our home phone. My mistake. They were doing road work which presented a problem with the luggage. John Luigie was more than happy to help out with this inconvenience. He had no idea that this was going to take place...it is Italy!

As a budget traveler, I appreciated the regular shuttles to the city center at no extra cost. The private boat trip to Capri and scooter rental were fantastic for exploring the area. The food at Villa Pane was delicious, with prices ranging from €5 to €16 per course. The ravioli was the highlight of our trip. The spa tub was a great alternative to a swimming pool, and the view over the town was stunning. The staff offered a helpful shuttle service and the room was comfortable and clean.
Felt most welcome, nothing was too much trouble.

The Villa and surroundimg area was beautiful. The shuttle service was very convenient as were the parking facilities making travel into the town centre simple. The town centre parking was so convenient. The bar prices at the Villa were very competitive and the locally produced limoncello and prosecco was excellent and so cheap.
Without a car or use of the shuttle service thE location would be a little far from the centre. The hills were steep so anyone with mobility issues would struggle without the shuttle. The dogs and chickens were a bit noisy but that kind of added to the authenticity and charm of the place!

Very friendly staff who were helpful and infirmative. Hillside location was quiet and very relaxed
The hotel is located up a 300 yard road that is too narrow for anything other than a very small car (our Fiat Punto was too wide!). The hotel provide a taxi service so this isn't a problm but you should be aware. There was a bit of a mosquito problem for me (40+ bites in 2 nights) but this could have been bad luck. Probably worth taking some insect repellent if you're going to stay there. Generally a very lovely, family run hotel.

The sunset view from our balcony was absolutely stunning, with a perfect view of the port and Isle of Capri. the room was clean and comfortable, with a travel cot provided for our baby. the continental breakfast was delicious, with fresh and tasty options. the location was convenient, with easy access to Sorrento and other nearby attractions.
The lack of a pool was a bit disappointing, although the jacuzzi provided a nice alternative. the on-site dinners were quite expensive, and without any menus, we were surprised by the bill at checkout.

Lovely setting, excellent food, owners were very kind and helpful, rooms were very comfortable and clean. Outstanding view from the terrace.
Hotel is situated somewhat remotely, however this is offset by the owners willingness to transport you to sorrento centre and back on a regular shuttle service also accommodating special times.

The friendly management and staff cannot do enough to help. The views are to die for, it takes in most of the Bay of Naples. Home cooked food, cooked by the owner herself - you feel like family. The other guests were from all over and everybody jelled. It was the only holiday that I have taken where I switched off my mobile phone, and I'm self employed. All in all we had a wonderful time.
Transport from the train station could be better arranged.
